Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 27, 2026

Vapeno is designed as a local-first quit vaping app. Most quit progress and craving information is stored on your device. We use limited third-party services to understand app usage, diagnose crashes, and keep the app operating safely.

Who This Policy Applies To

This Privacy Policy applies to the Vapeno mobile application. By using Vapeno, you agree to the handling of information described in this policy.

Information You Provide In The App

Vapeno lets you enter information related to quitting vaping. This may include:

This information is stored locally on your device. Vapeno does not require an account, and we do not run a cloud database for your personal quit progress at this time.

Analytics And App Usage Data

Vapeno uses Firebase Analytics to help us understand how the app is used and where the app can be improved. Analytics may include screens viewed, feature interactions, lesson keys, rule category keys, craving category keys, puff count changes, and similar in-app events.

We do not use Firebase Analytics to collect your name, email address, or precise location. Firebase may process device, app, and usage identifiers such as an app instance identifier, device type, operating system, approximate region, and event timestamps.

Crash Reports And Diagnostics

Vapeno uses Firebase Crashlytics to help identify and fix crashes and serious errors. Crash reports may include device model, operating system version, app version, crash logs, diagnostic details, and identifiers used by Firebase to group crashes.

Remote Configuration

Vapeno uses Firebase Remote Config to fetch app configuration, such as update notices, feature switches, reminder controls, and review prompt settings. Remote Config helps us keep the app stable without requiring a full app update for every operational change.

Support Emails

If you contact support from the app, Vapeno opens your email app with a draft addressed to support.vapeno@gmail.com. The draft may include app version, build number, device model, and operating system version to help us troubleshoot. You can edit or remove this information before sending.

If you send the email, your email address, message, and any details you include will be received by us through email and used to respond to your request.

Notifications

Vapeno may use local notifications for apply-rule reminders if you allow notifications. These reminders are scheduled on your device. Vapeno does not use push notification services to send your quit progress or craving data to our servers.

Information We Do Not Collect

Vapeno does not require an account and does not intentionally collect your name, contacts, photos, microphone recordings, camera data, precise location, payment information, or health records from Apple Health, Google Health Connect, or similar health data stores.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

Sharing Of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal quit progress with advertisers. We use Google Firebase services for analytics, crash reporting, and remote configuration. These services process data according to Google's applicable terms and privacy policies.

Data Retention

Locally stored app data remains on your device unless you delete it, uninstall the app, or clear the app's data through your device settings. Support emails are retained as needed to respond to your request and maintain support records. Firebase data is retained according to the retention settings and policies of Firebase and Google.
